I laid tefillin just recently, for the first time. Your video is helpful. It should have a slow mode for the novice however
Shalom.

Slow it down for "newbies"
Is it possible to put something up that slows it down so that the man new to laying tefillin can see exactly how to do it? I used the 7th wind on my arm to complete it for years until recently discovering it should be the 8th that goes to the wrist. And the section on the upper arm all but flies past. There is no way to see that you are supposed to have the daled touching the box, and other details that are important. For those of us who are new, it is awkward to keep asking people to go over details like this numerous times, but we can "ask" a computer video relentlessly. This is a great video but we need something slower and more detailed for those of us who didn't grow up with all of this.

Wow
With simplicity and directness you convey so much. Thanks to your video I had greater kavanah (concentration) this morning when I put mine on.
